Anne-Marie has been working in the financial services industry for more than 20 years.   Starting her career as an auditor at the Auditor General of British Columbia and then moving to KPMG in the Cayman Islands in 2002 where she specialized in both fund and insurance audits.  Anne-Marie then worked in the captive insurance industry at Aon Insurance Managers as a manager until 2005 when she then joined Goldman Sachs as a fund administrator gaining experience in NAV calculations and valuations.

From 2007 to 2012, Anne-Marie was a finance manager for GLG Partners where she was responsible for operations and accounting for various management companies, as well as the audit and financial statement process for the large fund group.  During this time, GLG Partners transitioned to a public company and then was later purchased by Man Group and Anne-Marie was involved in both transactions.

Prior to joining Azimuth Governance, Anne-Marie was on the management committee at another governance firm and provided independent directorship services for over 9 years, sitting either as a director on boards or an advisory committee member for various fund structures with diverse strategies.

Anne-Marie holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary, is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and an Accredited Director (Chartered Secretaries of Canada) along with being a Notary Public in and for the Cayman Islands.

Anne-Marie is a longstanding member of the committee of hearts for Help for Children Cayman and volunteers for the Central Caribbean Marine Institute.  Anne-Marie was an advisory board member for the Cayman CPA chapter and has held various roles for 100 Women in Finance Cayman and is past co-chair of the main committee and the gala committee.
